Hallo zusammen,

Hello,

it could be caused by log saved in the Spirit unit - vewing it will resolve the issue.
It is signalizing there is flight log that you should view.

Or if it is 6x time swashplate movement it could be because a rescue function was engaged during initialization.

Hallo,

Hey,
so I have the very same problem, but with the newest software it is not gone, I have still everytime on startup swashplate movement with only 1 Servo, in the log-file sometimes it appears "Rudder Limit Reached" - so it is necessary to clear the entries somewhere or what can i do ?
I have 3 RS-Units, only on one this startup-message appears..
Thanks
Till

Hello,

do you use some bufferpack?
Can you describe all your components please?
The issue could be related to BEC maybe.

Yes, i use a 25F bufferpack, cuts at 3,4 Volt. And also nothing special, Futaba 3x HC700, 1x BLS 276, Kosmik, Pyro 750er.
It is an interesting idea - so I try to run the system without the buffer and see if that solves the problem :?

So I did some testing
Let the heli still sitting on the bench so that no "rudder end reached" und "cycling ring" message appeared in the log file, still the one servos movement at startup  , so I unpluged the buffer - and I fear it already - still the startup error or log message with 1 servo movement :o .
So perhaps what that message exactly means ? It it apears only when you have a error log - or is there some other conditions that cause that massage appear ??

On all 3 units I have the 3.4.0r2 Software.

Can you please explain the meaning of the startup behavior - is there an unstable voltage oder something else ? Should I send in the unit for testing or do I not have to worry ??

Different initialization is always triggered only when ERROR log is saved in the unit. There is no other condition that could cause this.
You have to always view the log to get normal initialization.

Buffer pack can cause that Spirit unit will be alive while you turning off radio.
This will always save new error log, because unit will detect that receiver signal is missing.

So it is important to just turn off radio after unit is completely off - no LED light.
Buffer pack makes it more complicated, because receiver and Spirit unit can turn off at different times and much later than after battery is unplugged.
