I know spirit supports tail rotors, but has anyone hooked it up to a 150s? It looks like the tail motor is feeding into the main esc and then outputting just one lead (plus an rpm signal) I was fiddling around with it last night and could not get the motor to arm although the cyclic servos did respond.
Has anyone gotten one of these working and could compare notes?

For 150S - You have to look at 2 parameters for this Dual-ESC. To be more precise - to get this ESC armed.
In General - Throttle settings AND the parameters "Limits" Rudder End Points. There you can find the secrets you are searching for. Which parameters are set there ?

I've tried uSpirit on 150s and it works fine (Currently tail in unstable, need to find correct settings)
Separate one lead is for tail motor signal and Lower Rudder end point should be low enough for tail esc to arm
I hooked Tail ESC to separate receiver and recalibrate throttle range Because I couldn't get right value for High Rudder end point (range was too low) (I hope this improves unstable tail but I haven't test yet)

Awesome, thanks guys! I’ll play around with this and see if I can get it working. If so I’ll share my findings here

So, i finally got around to messing with the 150s again, and was able to get the ESC's to arm and respond to control input, thanks for the suggestions!
For anyone who has either the 150 or the 230s flying, could you share with me the process of getting everything calibrated? Right now im not sure of the correct process to go about setting the min and max values of the tail esc range. there's lots of beeps going on and the rudder endpoint adjustments make the tail rotor go from barely moving to faster than i thought possible with every click.
Additionally, i cant get the tail rotor to stay still when throttle is off, it just constantly moves. Is there anyway around that?

When you share your setting it will be easier to provide recommendations. It is also important to know if you fly 3D or more Scale.
