Hello,

you can connect module to the unit, but you have to reprogram it for Baudrate 57600 else it will not work. VBar has different baud rate.
Maybe this scheme will help you.

Ok thanks Tomas. I went ahead and ordered a bt module from you guys. One more quick question, ive got a hw 100a v3 on my goblin 380 and only use the throttle/bec cable connected to the red unit so ive got the other bec cable just secured to the frame. Could I use that extra cable to power the bt unit and then the other bt connector to the system port?

Yes,

this will work fine. You will only need adaptor to connect both servo cables together, because both are with same end.

Thanks Tomas.

Do you mean a Y cable? Never heard of a v cable.
