Hello all, i have updated a Spirit II with Spirit Aero current firmware and had no trouble setting it up for the first time (it was great to setup). everything seems to work fine - maiden waiting for better weather. tiny problem: Hobbywing telemetry is working, but it seems to give a max reading of 8192 rpms for the motor... which is a bit above ~2/3 throttle or so. above that, the motor is still accelerating as expected (to >10.000rpms) - everything normal here. just the telemetry rpm readings seem to max out at 8192. what did i miss in setup? the Esc is a HW 80A v4, setup: fixed wing, 3S fixed, soft cutoff/disabled, brake disabled, etc ... |

Hello, you have to set motor poles, since 8192 is max. value that can be displayed for RPM. So it can't display higher values. |

Hello Tomas, motor poles is set correctly (10 pole motor => 5 set in config)... motor is spinning ~10.800 at full throttle (from older logs with YGE esc directly on Ex Bus). so this means, i cannot see real rpms via telemetry? |
