It's seems that FrSky is doing everything to get out of buisness. I am thinkin about moveing on TBS Corssfire system.
The only thing that stops me is that Spirit doesn't support Crossfire telemetry.

So, what's about adding Crossfire support?

Crossfire nano rx supports sbus. So typically it should work at least in one direction. They also provide mavlink connection channels if fc supports.

Best method will be direct support of CRSF protocol which is Fast and bidirectional.

There is a github project source codw which Thomas can refer for crsf decoding. It is U360GTS (automatic antenna tracker).

One thing bothers me is TBS only provides nano receiver and the big size is quite expensive.

They have a Nano Diversity and the size of the receiver should not matter as it is fully functional.

I too would like this very much.

I tested it. The response time is slow unless you force it to work at 150Hz AND TELEMETRY OFF
which maybe discourage your purpose. If you go little far, it will be reduced to 50Hz anyway.
it's flyable with 50Hz and TELEMETRY but it's not a Joyful experience.

any chance this will be coming in the future? I got a crossfire module on my heli and it works fine without telemetry but I would love to get some data back also :)

Got another heli for black friday and I would really love to hear from dev team if this is something that will be coming or not before I decide on what FC I'll go for. Need telemetry :D

If they would like to borrow the radio and receiver we can start with implementation. Now we have too many radios :D

I asked about this in a support request to the crossfire team and the reply is added below. Could you contact them on this email? I can send you a receiver for testing but I only have one TX. Could prolly buy another one to but let me know if they have one you can borrow for testing. Crossfire has amazing telemetry on quads. Code can be seen in betaflight on github if you want to have a peek.
