Post subject:  Stabilisation and gyro

Hi All
Would someone be able to help me understand what I'm doing wrong. I have a spirit fbl unit on a 450l with an NX8 controller. I want to put stabi function on it and as far as i can see I'm setting it up in the FBl correctly as when i activate it via the channel on the transmitter the monitor is showing that its active. The issue im having is that it will on become active on the heli swash plate when I turn the "gyro" off in the transmitter but then wont that cancel the tail authority?
Help please?

Hello,

have you looked in the search function there are some threads about it ?
For example:
https://www.spirit-system.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=5429&p=38723&hilit=activation+rescue#p38723
Alternatively:
Can you please show us your settings-file ? Then we can help...
Backing up the Setup-files (.4ds-file) and uploading them to the forum is clear?

Regards

Hi, thanks for the reply.
I actually found what I had been doing wrong.
I had to set the 60% positive gyro in the transmitter to 60% negative for the stability functions to operate.
I had been watching a how to vid on the spirit and it was not mentioned so I went back and did some more reading and found what I was missing.
Thanks again.

Has anyone experimented with creating additional support systems for Geolink to enhance its performance and stability? If so, what modifications or additions have been made and what were the results?
