thanks ,so there is no point in having acro mode rescue now then if normal mode corrects your inverted mistakes

Good point. Kinda true. Now Normal mode has the best of the two worlds ))))

Any one know the delay for the flip when in normal mode? I have rescue set to acro but want to try the normal rescue + flip. I've got it on a momentary switch so I'm curious to know how long I need to hold it down.

1.3.1 introduced a new parameter to set that delay.

It's only visible in the software when you select Rescue Normal. I tried 1.0 sec, then decided for 0.5 secs.

just push and hold until it flips, the time until it flips is what you set it to.

No.
Normal mode will level to inverted if it's faster, climb up for the set time, then flip skids down and keep climbing until turned off.
Normal mode when leveling to normal and Acro mode are both unchanged.

Ah...mis-read the previous post.

Just tested it at lunch today! That flip is fast! I like the adjustable setting. I'm quite happy switching from BD3SX. :D

Tested with my trex 450 with 0.5 sec delay. Wow this is great. Lift and flip.
I used sequencing before, but this is much better. Thanks for quick response, 1.5 sec was too much for this small bird.

Imho it would be nice to be able to tune / adjust the flip rate or leveling rate as well, depending on the user preference.
I found it a convieniet parameter on the BeastX Pro to make the flips less hard.

I agree. Then it would be perfect.

As far as I understand, the rescue flipping rate depends on the cyclic ring. When flipping max elevator/aileron allowed by the cyclic ring is used. With a large cyclic ring the flipping can be violently fast.

This is not ideal, I want a large cyclic ring to give space to legit 3d manouevers but need to reduce to not tear the heli apart in rescue flipping. It is some time ago now but I think I have the cyclic ring around 15-18 degrees now but the mechanics allow well over 20 on the 450. On my large helis there is a better agreement with what the mechanics allow and acceptable flip rate.

I agree that this is not ideal and a more obvious way of setting the rescue flip rate would be nice to have.

''but need to reduce to not tear the heli apart in rescue '

I have seen one tail strike and one battery come loose due to the 'flip rate'.
+1 for an adjustable setting for this rather than lower cyclic ring.
Thanks Tomas in advance!!!
