Post subject:  How configure a futaba t8fg with PWM

Hi.

I have a Align 450L dominator with futaba T8fg and receiver R617FS.
First, this is PWM? Or I can select PPM?

I have problems with the bank and rescue mode.
In this mode only can select the channel 5 for banks and gyro unassigned.

How is the correct configuration to put the bank in 3 position switch and rescue mode in an other 2 position switch?

Thank

Hi,

you can check our Futaba Guide here: viewtopic.php?f=20&t=579

Basically you can switch flight modes so that it can switch the banks and at the same time momentary switch will be IDLEUP2 with the higer priority.

Bank 0 = conventional flightm ode - NORMAL
Bank 1 = for example stabilisation mode - IDLEUP1
Bank 2 = rescue - IDLEUP2

Thank you for your quick response.

For this setup I need select the bank in channel 5 thath´s ok?
in this case if I put in switch SG 3 position -NORMAL
-IDLEUP 1
-IDLEUP 2
and in the swith SH 2 position with priority -IDLEUP 3 ( for rescue ) works ok??

other option:in the radio is possible to change in the radio the AUX to channel 5 for the banks.

Thank you again.

Yes you are right.

But there are 3 banks so it is enough to have just 3 flight modes where on of them is assigned for the rescue.
So IDLEUP3 is not needed, but can be used too.

So gyro gain will determine what bank you want to select. It can be configured in this way:
Flight mode: NORMAL - GYRO 0% AVCS
Flight mode: IDLEUP1 - GYRO 0% AVCS
Flight mode: IDLEUP2 - GYRO 100% AVCS
Flight mode: IDLEUP3 - GYRO 100% NORM (for the rescue)
