Can I please have an explanation why my Spirit 2 / Geolink 2 does the following:
At initial hovering if I enable Rescue Mode the helicopter climbs straight up.....correctly.
However if I wait for some time like 5 minutes it no longer will go straight up but veer to the left or right, while still climbing.....annoying!
Is there drifting taking place from the unit heating up?

I guess it is rather base settings being wrong - could be even wrong servo wiring, wrong Mounting Position, Swashplate Type configuration. Please take a look at the link above. If there is some other noticeable source of heat near the unit then yes, this could cause such problem. But only if it is really close the unit.
