Post subject:  Climb and descent at altitude hold manu and at fixed pitch

Hello I would like to ask you to help me.
The following requirement:
Spirit RS, Geolink vers.1 update at RS to 3.5 at Geolink the latest update available.
In my opinion I have set everything correctly.
When switching on, whether now hold at altitude without a fixed pitch or when switching on with a fixed pitch,
the heli goes up by about 5m and then down.
This happens all the time. That means: the helicopter does not stand still at altitude.
My request to you, maybe someone knows how I can refine the settings so that the heli has one
can maintain a stable height.

With best thanks
Borni

Hi Börni

first point will be for sure to go through the troubleshooting guide: https://manual.spirit-system.com/index. ... leshooting

if that does not help, you should provide much more details about your setup ( heli model/type, servos, rpms, Spirit settings, etc) so one could be able to give a hint. without detail the troubleshooting guide is more/less the best hint!

Hi Michael,
Thanks for your answer.
I have set and checked everything carefully.
All that remains is to find out the right percentage with the vertical setting.
The question arises: whether I should reduce or increase sensitivity in 5% steps at 80% sensitivity.
(By the way, the heli is a T-REX 600)
With many thanks and best regards.

the troubleshooting guide sasys: "For some models it is needed to decrease Vertical Correction Gain if model is doing visible corrections. You can start with the lowest number and increase it by 10 points in that case."

don't go crazy
spirit with standard parameters during the flight the helicopter flies perfectly.
you think to have a good setup but is not so
or I have a trex 600 too and maybe if it's not the setup you will have high vibrations.
Can you record the vibrations?
but Before you go servo - subtrim and after put the blade the same in the video.
Do your blades touch?
