I used the setup of a 6610t and 4651t as a sat for about 6 months on 2 different heli's and both worked fine with no problems except having to move rx to spirit lead from data/SRXL2 port to no 1 port. Telementry also worked fine. I have now moved over to Jeti....

Thank you! THAT is very interesting and makes me hopeful! May I be sure that I understand your configuration? You had the AR6610T Bind/Prog/SRXL2 port plugged into the ELE/PIT/AIL port on the Spirit and then had a SPM4651T plugged into the SRXL2 (jst) port on the AR6110T?

Hello everyone !
Now I'm a bit confused, the AR6610 T is not recommended as a helicopter receiver for an FBL system? Was it not always explicitly recommended by Spektrum to always use at least one standard receiver plus satellite? Now instead only the 4651T is recommended if the FBL understands SRXL2 ?

As 10x wrote he has flown the combination of AR6610T and connected 4651T successfully and without problems and only connected the FBL via slot 1 instead of the Bind / Prog / SRXL2 slot on the AR6610T -

The whole thing is pretty opaque - if you look Spektrums to FC6250 you have the option of plugging in another SRXL2 satellite in addition to a 4651T, for example the SPM9747 via the sat1 port on the FC6250, which I also mentioned in this thread or in the other thread where this topic was also discussed / written -

What would still interest me on this topic is whether the FC6260 has built in its own receiver at all or whether it actually only works through the external 4651T and / or 9747 satellites, then nothing would contradict using two SRXL2 satellites on the Spirit and that would then be a huge competitive advantage for Spirit over other FBL manufacturers!
I'm curious what you think about it -

Many greetings
Matthias

If you look at SRXL2 page http://manual.spirit-system.com/index.p ... trum_SRXL2
You connect cable to +/- from the rudder port and signal/orange to the Ail pin then the other end into the number 1 port of the 6610t. Then plug the SRXL2 extension wire into the SRXL2 port on the side of the 6610t...You have to use the no1 port as the bind/program/SRXL2 port is in parallel with the sat SRXL2 port...

Hello 10x,
if it is so that you put in the Port1 instead of the Bind/Pro/SRXL2 then the picture in the manual should be changed...

Best regards
Matthias

You only have to put wire into port 1 if you are using a sat...If no sat you can use bind/prog/SRXL2 for wire as the manual...

Hello,

tomorrow we will find solution for people with ESC telemetry.
It is not correct AR6610T will not send channels 1-6. It is working in the same way as other SRXL2 receivers.

Bind/SRXL2 port can be used with no issue and is recommended port. At least with our receivers. But CH1 will work too.

Hello 10x,
thanks for clarification, that was new for me !
I repeat again, so if only one sat is to be connected then the Bind/Prog/ SRXL2 slot can be used, when using an AR6610T and a satellite then slot 1 must be used -

Thank you again!
BR Matthias

I am talking about using a sat(4651t) pluged into the 6610t, then you have to use port 1. If using a sat plugged into the spirit you can use the Bind/Prog/SRXL2 port
