Hello

I noticed today that the pressure sensor on my unit is not working, I am using an OpenTx radio with an ACCST D16 receiver working in F.Port Protocol, I am receiving all the telemetry sensors from both the Spirit and the ESC on my radio without any problem, but the Alt sensor value is only showing values between -0.4 and 0.4 meter.

i attach below a copy of the OpenTx flight log for inspection.

Kindly advice how to solve this problem.

Same on FrSky X8R openTX via S-BUS and S.PORT
Alt Sensor shows 0.0m or 0.4m

Thank you for the post. I will update when I have more details. We have to test all OpenTX versions.

I'm having a similar issue, seeing Altitude sensor values less than 2, despite going 50 - 100 feet (15 - 30 meters) into the air. I'm a newbie to Spirit (but very pleased so far!), so it's quite possible I have something not set up correctly.

Model: Kraken 580
FBL: Spirit GT (Red)
Receiver: FrSky RX6R, running ACCESS 2.1.7 firmware, connected via F.Port.
Transmitter: FrSky Taranis X9D+ SE 2019 running OpenTX 2.3.14

Did I set it up wrong?

EDIT: Attaching a flight log

Hello,

unfortunately I can't tell you F.Port connection will work correctly with ACCESS receiver. These are using F.Port 2 as far as I know.
We were testing only with F.Port version 1, so compatibility can't be guaranted yet.
Anyhow it should not affect what sensor is measuring.

We did several improvements in the upcoming firmware 3.3.2 (release in next week), so it might help you.

This receiver lets me select in the options either S.Port, F.Port 1, or F.Port 2. I've got it set to F.Port 1 at the moment based on a remark I saw on the FrSky FPort page in the wiki:

Please note, Spirit GT has support for F.PORT 1. F.PORT 2 protocol will be fully supported soon too.

I'm still awaiting the ESC telemetry cable to test the other sensors. Otherwise, everything other than the altitude sensor seems to be working just fine.

I updated to Spirit 3.3.2 on my Spirit GT yesterday and then re-scanned for sensors. I now have a new sensor called GAlt which seems to be giving me altitude information. I'm not quite sure I believe the scale, exactly. For example, the second flight in the attached log has me going to 174.5 feet (53 meters) but, from my completely unscientific wild guess on the ground, I don't think I went much over 100 feet. But relative data is still useful to me.

Any advice for the best way to calibrate this?
