Post subject:  FrSky Neuron 80a with Spirit2 telemetry

I'm trying to get Spirit2 set up with FrSKy XSR receiver's SBUS to Spirit2 RUD (along with S. Port from XSR to the FrSky Integration to SYS and daisy chained with Neuron's S. Port out wire)

Taranis shows all the telemetry data—including current and voltage (YES!) but throttle isn't working. In this setup, the Neuron 80a ESC throttle wire goes to Spirit2 AUX1; and the Neuron also has an S. Port output for various telemetry data (RPM, current, voltage, etc.) that I connected with FLVSS and the FrSKy Integration cable.

The SBUS goes from XSR to RUD; (I added extra RED wire from RUD to the S. Port plug from XSR and they plug into FrSky Integration Cable). The FrSky Integration goes to SYS, and has the telemetry devices kind of daisy chained in the middle.

I tested a larger X8R receiver and throttle works only if I put the throttle wire from Neuron into CH3 PWM port on X8R receiver (and SBUS directly to the Spirit2 AUX1, then S. Port on X8R to FrSky Integration and daisy chained telemetry). But that setup won't let me run Spirit2 governor (as far as I can tell).

Does anybody have suggestions? Is it possible to use Spirit2 for throttle governor using XSR SBUS connection?

Hello,

you have to connect ESC at the AUX1 port if you wish to use Governor.
Throttle output must be enabled in the General/Channels window by assigning Throttle channel (1).

Thank you. I think it is working; I have the ESC output plugged into Spirit2 AUX port. I will update soon whether the FrSKY Neuron works correctly or not with governor.

Hello,

I also use the neuron ESC. My wiring is as described in this post. I use a taranis tranmitter, a x6r receiver ( futaba sbus), spirit pro 3.0.0 and the geolink Module. In my Transmitter i use the lua script for spirit configuration. The frsky esc is not listet in the menue for esc telemetry so i ordered a RPM sensor (Hobbywing RPM SENSOR HW86060041).
The usb connection is not working. If i disconnect the s. Port from My esc the USB connection works.
Is IT possible that there is conflict whith the telemetry ID. Idont wont to disconnect the esc every time if use the usb interface.
Can anyone help.
