Looks like I would need some type of Y-cable to make this work, but the picture on the purchase website only shows a regular two-sided cable. If I select the µSpirit version of the FrSky Integration cable, will it come with the y-harness thing?

Here is the picture I'm talking about:

How would I make connections from the 4 pins of the XSR to the two separate 3x1 housings of the µSpirit unit?

Also, the diagram in post #1 here should be in the Wiki manual! Seems important.

You have to solder the cables together. It is recommended only for experienced pilots.

Thanks. Makes sense.

Also, is it possible to create my own FrSky integration cable? Can I just connect the correct pins together with a direct wire or are there electronics/logic/resistors/etc under the heat shrink?

Cut the plug off the sbus cable and solder it to the xsr.

S-Bus Adapter and FrSky integration cable are very different inside. So you can't swap each other even if end plugs are same.
