Hello.
I have a question about the Spirit RS.
I would like to install the Spirit RS in a helicopter with retractable landing gear and lighting.
Is there any way to control more servos with the Spirit RS for additional functions other than controlling the helicopter?
I look forward to an answer, thank you.
Greetings Fritz.

Hi,

there is - in channel mapping setup - the possibility to select "OutPut/Ausgabe to/an xxx" where you can select AUX2 and CH0. supposed you are using a GTR it should be possible to attach gears and light to the 2 channels AUX2 and CH0 (yes, some y-leads could be necessary for all cabling).

otherwise it's easiest to use a Jeti Rex plus a Spirit II/GT: just attach Spirit to E1, maybe Esc telemetry to E2 and other channels as you like. I am using this option for gears/lights with a Airwolf (was before GTR).

Ciao
Michael

If you need to control more channels, then you can connect additional JETI receiver as backup. This will be connected at E1 port.
Then you can control as many channels as you want with Spirit RS through another receiver and have extended signal range at the same time.

Alternatively if two channels are enough - with Spirit RS it is possible to control 2 channels too. But second one must be configured in the JETI BOX for REX-RS. This is little more complicated, but will work too.
It will use EXT pin.

Now I already know something more.
Thank you Michael.
Thank you (Spirit)Meister.

Hello Tomas,
could you explain this one, please? (or is there a checklist) I do have exactly that need in my wife's Airwolf 450... so I could use the (existing) RS too instead of Spirit II + Rex3. (E1=YGE,Aux2=Gear,EXT=light?)

Hello.
I would be interested in that too.
Greetings Fritz.
