Good morning,
I'm setting up a 400 class helicopter with Spirit2. After the mechanical setup, I moved on to the SW setup.
I have done everything in the manual and in the end I am left with the corners and etc.

However, something happens that I hadn't noticed even with my other helicopters before this one.

In particular it concerns the travel of the sticks vs the travel of the servo controls.

Collective: The collective goes from -12° to +12° which corresponds to the command -100 to +100 (all ok).

Cyclic: The cyclic command goes from -10° to +10° (modifiable as a step) but on the stick it goes from -50 to 0 and from 0 to +50. That is, from -50 to -100 the servos do not move (they do not work under force) and the same thing on the positive side (+51 to +100).

Question: Is this behavior of the cyclic correct?
Did I miss something in the manual?

Thanks for the confirmation

Thank you for answering,
I read the post that ok let's say the extension is on the flight ok.

I ask because I have a problem with the log which is the following:

Checking the log after each flight I have the following:
- Flight 1: I tried just hovering using the Ale/Ele stick very little (mode 2) and checking the log everything is ok.
- Flight 2: I tried to make a straight line with very light turns (tail rotation) and checking the log everything is ok.
- Flight 3: I tried to make a loop (Idleup 1) it gives me (after many "Good Health Messages") an error "Cyclic Ring Activated" followed by "Good Health Message".

From here the verification of the travel of the right sticks Vs "Ale/Ele" was born.

I'm worried about the "Cyclic Ring Activated" message.

This problem is present on both the M4 and M4Max and both are equipped with: "Spirit2" - "Spektrum DSMx rx" - "Radiomaster Boxer".

The setup is according to manual and the inclinations are:
Collective: +/- 12°
Ale/Ele: +/-11°
Max picth range

Thanks in advance for a reply

Good morning,
maybe I solved the problem with OMPHOBBY M4Max.
By changing some parameters and viewing the log after a flight, the "Cyclic Ring Activated" error no longer appears.

Only "Tail Rudder Limit Reached" remains but that is at the beginning of the flight and at the end of the flight. I think it refers to when I pick it up to take it to the runway and when I pick it up at the end of the flight.

For the M4 it has a problem with the tail but maybe I figured out what it is.

Thanks for everything.
