OK, I disconnected the ESC fan I have. I even removed it from the ESC.
It is a new Avian 100 amp with fan.
No difference,
I took off in Stabi mode Coaxial only
Seemed ok at first, the longer i flew,
the more it pulled to the left so I had to hold in right stick
After about two minuets, I had to hold full right stick again
so I landed before I could not control it.
FLEW it again with no stabilization and it flew fine.
What do I try next....
Also please answer the question,
What does the "enable Stabi Correction in the Advanced/Expert settings" check box change, what makes this good or bad ?

Hello,

thank you. This explains why also GeoLink features can't work well.

Stabi Correction is explained also in the software when you hover mouse cursor above the parameter.
It can help to fix the error caused by whatever reason by additional sensor. In the most cases it will work and enhance the precision but if model has really high vibrations then it will not help. Anyway normally it should work properly with default settings.

The unit has troubles to keep horizontal position. This will have impact also for Rescue and all stabilisation modes.
This can help:

ok, so it adds an additional sensor. Your explanation here is better than the one in the Hover Over.... I saw that one and did not understand. You are your team work with this stuff everyday. Not all of us do.

May I suggest that you would get fewer emails if the manual had more detailed information. What something does, how and why, more details.
I do appreciate you sticking with this. Sorry for all the questions.
So basically I need to test for excessive vibration as that may be the issue ??

Also, is it true that if I do have excessive vibration the light on the rx will change color or such ???

ok, I need help figuring out the vibration screen shot. My score for in flight was Green at 46..... but I have one spike high that is not identified.
See the screen shot and please comment on the screen shot. One thing.... I do have a set of fiberglass training gear on it... I noticed on landing that one of the four tie straps had broken.... I did not see it bouncing around though.

the spike is not identified as a component... however the tails is not shown so could this be the tail ??
the total score is ok though... no ???

Oh and I did enable the check box in advanced, Expert for Stabi Correction as you told me too.
Doing that seemed to make the slide to the left worse... happened right away,
no delay or building slowly over a minuet or two for a minuet or two.

ok, Just ran it on the bench on top of a heavy blanket.
I have a high reading on the head I believe,
Y access
See what you think in the screen shots

ok, now I have taken the top part of the head off, and here is what I get.
I put a dial indicator on the main shaft, no deflection.
Not sure what the graphs are trying to tell me.

Hello,

the last plot is showing a resonant vibrations. These are the worst for the model and unit itself.

It is coming usually from parts that are not holding firmly or from belt. So belt tension could resolve the issue.
Usually these vibrations are happening at the tail rotor mechanics.

Anyway no spike should be higher than 50% of the plot.

lafrentzr,
were you able to trace down if it was something in the head or tail causing the vibs or the unit itself? Thanks

NO, not able to figure this out. I have taken one part off the heli at a time and ended up with just the motor and main shaft with the gears and tail drive box only. That is the last vibration diagram.... that is when the Spirit person said it looked like a resonant (??) vibration. I wish some one who is good at vibration reduction would jump in..... I would pay them to figure it out.
