It would be great if the Spirit could be enhanced to support both the Telemetry units via SRXL2 like is available in 2.8, but also still utilize the DSMX sats in the normal satellite plugs on the units.

Apparently the Ikon2 offers this feature. See post # 13 in this link: https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthr ... -4650-4651

Thanks for exploring this option.

The new Spektrum FBL unit does also.

I'd love to have this feature too!

I'll add my support for wanting the Spirit allowing both SRXL2 and DSMX. I have a Spirit on my Fusion 270 and love it but would like to add SRXL2 (without having to buy two sats). I just setup my first Brain2 BT and think it's great I could add a new 4651T utilizing SRXL2 in addition to an older DSMX satellite I had in the junk drawer.

We could add the feature but at the moment we are working on much more important things. So it might be available in 1-2 months although we are not very happy to mix two different systems and making things even more confusing for pilots.
You can get SPM4649T receiver with your old spektrum satellites.

Hello Tomas
Is it possible to input SRXL2 in the side sat sockets?

No, it is not possible. There is small chance it will be possible in the future.
