Post subject:  spectrum SPM9560 backplate sensor

I have a goblin black nitro (my first nitro) it has a Spektrum SPM9560 backplate sensor on the os 105 engine. I want to get the gov working on the spirit 2 but im unsure how to connect the sensor. It has a normal servo connection on the lead, i know the signal wire has to be on the pit pin of the spirit but do i need to power the sensor also? I cant find any information on what voltage the sensor will run off, im using a 2s lipo directly into the spirit2. Im afraid if i plug the (pos and neg) SPM9560 into a spare port i may damage the fbl or the sensor. Please Help!

Jay

Yes I have already read and understood the link you've provided but it doesn't address my question of how to power the sensor, it dosnt have a sat connection it has a servo connection.
