Hi,

I just replaced my old Futaba transmitter with new Futaba one. Is there any way to calibrate the stick movements in Spirit software without changing any of the other parameters ie. swash level, limits etc. Function settings are equal in both transmitters.

Thanks!

Hi,

this should be performed in the radio itself.
So that end points displayed in the Diagnostic tab of the Spirit Settings will show +/- 100%.

By default when using S-BUS it is not needed to change anything.

Thanks for your answer! I'm using sbus2 and had to change the end points and got most of the values +100 or -100. Few values are either 101 or 99 and can't get it to 100.

Pitch center is off by 1% as I checked the transmitter pitch curve where it says position 0, and then the spirit software was off by 1%.

About the transmitter gyro settings: transmitter gyro for AIL and ELE seems to be at AVCS (on) and value 50 by default. Do I have to turn both values off? Rudder gyro value seems to work and also needed an end point adjustment.

Hello,

please reset all trims/subtrims and repower the unit. Centers are calibrated automatically, so endpoints might be fixed on its own.

AIL and ELE gyro gains are useless, so you can turn them off. Cyclic gain is configured in the software and usually no adjustments are needed.

Hi,

All my trims and subtrims are at 0, double checked. So far the negative pitch is either -99 or -101 and the pitch center is off by +1% or +2%. Left aileron is also -99 or -101.

I did try to set the end points higher, repower and adjust but it's still the same. It's always one off or one too much, guess I have to deal with it.
